VBS Missions Offering Update
We have been having a contest between the boys and girls for our Missions offering.
The first night the boys barely edged out the girls. The next night the competitive spirit kicked in and the girls trampled the boys. It made me think...hmm...Are the girls more competitive than the boys? Wednesday night I got my answer. I think the Big boys must have gotten involved. (lol) Below are the nightly totals:
Sun: G- 9.48 B- 11.50
Mon: G- 26.03 B- 18.77
Tues: G- 31.00 B- 29.00
Wed: G- 20.35 B- 127.55
Grand total so far: $273.68
Amanda agreed that she could be "pie-ed" if the kids brought as much as $200. Pictures will be following!

July 12th-VBS begins
Young and old alike enjoyed our first night of VBS. The ladies serving include the oldest member of our church and her sisters. They are a great example of serving the Lord forever.

JULY 4, 2009
Today we celebrate the birth of our nation. For over 200 years brave men and women have defended our country to give us "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". The price has been very high for these people and their families. Many have been crippled mentally and physically. A multitude have given the ultimate sacrifice and paid with their lives. To these we say THANK YOU. Remember that Freedom is never Free and don't forget or belittle the persons who have given you these privileges.
